Located on the banks of the Ceira River, in Vila Nova do Ceira, Canaveias River Beach is a great place to relax—peaceful and perfect for close contact with nature.

This beach is part of the ColorADD project, a partnership between Águas do Centro Litoral, several municipalities, and the Blue Flag Association for Environment and Education. The project implements a color identification symbol system for people with color blindness, applied to beach flags.

Awarded with the “Accessible Beach – Beach for All!” distinction, this beach offers a large grassy area and excellent support facilities.
