This beach offers everything needed for a swim or to relax and rest.
Located in the village of Alvito da Beira, on the right bank of the river Alvito, in a green valley where traditional architecture is still prized, this beach offers everything needed for a swim or to relax and rest.

It is the starting point for the "Rota dos Recantos e Encantos” walk, through old irrigation channels. The walk leads to Cova do Alvito, a village with no permanent inhabitants, but beautifully preserved. A short distance away lies the Cerejeira River Beach.

  • how to arrive

    A partir de Proença-a-Nova, seguir pela EN241 até ao cruzamento para Sobreira Formosa pela EN233. Cerca de 18 km depois de Proença-aNova, virar à esquerda para a EM544, em direção a Alvito da Beira.

    Durante a época balnear (23 de junho a 9 de setembro), há transporte gratuito a partir do Parque Urbano. Partida: 09h15 e 14h15 Regresso das praias: 15h00 e 18h30
