It is under the hospitality of Joana Alves that this place asserts itself as a meeting point for those seeking authentic flavours and unhurried moments. Opened in July 2024, A Malga combines cuisine and shop, bringing together tasting and discovery in the same experience.
At the table, the menu showcases mountain cuisine through snacks and meals that respect tradition: bifanas (pork sandwiches), torresmos (pork crackling), moelas (chicken gizzards), pica-pau (chicken wings), platters of sausages and cheeses, as well as traditional soups, served with simplicity and authenticity.
The space also includes an Aldeias do Xisto shop, which serves as a showcase for local products, extending the experience beyond the meal and inviting guests to discover local flavours and knowledge.
Also designed to host groups and small events, A Malga adapts to different social occasions, always maintaining a close connection to the community and local identity.
