Provide tools (technical, aesthetic and storytelling) that strengthen skills in the photographic record of travel, making communication more fluid, appealing and relevant to the reader/observer. This is what Trilhos da Terra and Sant'Ana Adventure Bicycles propose in the Bicycle Travel Photography Workshop in the Aldeias do Xisto taking place in Fajão, municipality of Pampilhosa da Serra, on 15 and 16 May. The trainer is travel photographer Bernardo Conde.
The workshop has two theoretical strands: Saturday morning is dedicated to various aspects of photography; on Sunday morning, the focus is on image editing and story editing.
The practical part begins on Saturday afternoon, when participants go out to experience an adventure live, which they will then have to portray taking on board the morning’s teaching. The outing lasts until Sunday lunchtime and assumes that the participants come prepared to travel independently (transport, eating and sleeping).
The editing and selection of images will take place on Sunday afternoon upon returning to the venue. If there is time, a critique will also be made of some of the images collected.
