On World Tourism Day, 27 September, there are plenty of reasons to visit the Schist Village of Janeiro de Cima. The Tigres do Zêzere Sports Group is organising its first ever Soup Festival.

In the late afternoon, in the parish centre square, it will be possible to taste various soups, made voluntarily by the villagers, in a moment of conviviality and discovery of flavours.

Registration is mandatory by 25 September. The first 200 registrations will receive a free reusable, personalised bowl. In addition to the food, there will be music, with a concert by the band ‘Os Infravermelhos’ starting at 8 pm to liven up the early evening.
