A route which allows you to admire the enchanting meandering scenery of the River Zêzere.
The trail starts near the New Church and, as you climb up the Vale da Canada, you will have the opportunity to glimpse the enchanting scenery meandering along the River Zêzere and the spectacular rocky ridges classified as a World Heritage Site.
PROGRAMME:
- 8.30am – Gathering Next to the New Church of Janeiro de Cima and the beginning of the Walking Trail
- 11.30am – Arrival at the Janeiro de Cima River Park and chatting around the Wheel of Janeiro
- 1pm – Lunch at the Janeiro de Cima River park (optional and requiring reservation when registering) This includes: Vegetable soup, roast loin, roast potatoes, vegetable rice, fruit and drinks.
- 4.30pm – Skill competition involving Traditional Boats at the Janeiro de Cima River Park
