Next Saturday, 1 November, the Sobralense Sports and Cultural Group ‘Os Galitos da Serra’ will once again bring the community together for the traditional Magusto d'Os Galitos, in the Schist Village of Sobral de São Miguel.
The initiative, part of the 2025 cultural agenda, promises an afternoon of chestnuts, jeropiga, socialising and lots of entertainment, celebrating autumn and local traditions.
The event is supported by the Covilhã City Council, the Parish of Sobral de São Miguel, the Sobral de São Miguel Social Solidarity Association, the Parish of São Miguel, the Sobral de São Miguel Festival Committee, and the Parish Hunters and Fishermen Association.
More than just a gathering, Magusto is a time for sharing and celebrating community life — because, as they say in Sobral, living in a community is good!
