It is on the route of the Schist Walking Trail of Janeiro de Baixo that Easter takes on
more meaning. 

Glimpse the enchanting scenery meandering along the River Zêzere and the spectacular rocky ridges classified as a World Heritage Site. This is a route that passes all around this  Aldeia do Xisto, with stunning scenery, where you can glimpse the charming landscapes and the majestic quartzite ridges, classified by UNESCO and forming part of the Naturtejo Geopark.

The musical entertainment in the afternoon will include the participation of the local artist Sérgio Gonçalves and the Drums of Dornelas do Zêzere.

9am – Reception and distribution of food replenishments (Next to the Janeiro de Baixo Beach Bar)
9.30am – Beginning of the PR4-PPS Trail
12.30pm – Lunch at Santo Cristo picnic area (near the Janeiro de Baixo River Beach)
