The Aldeias do Xisto network presents its new official Welcome Center on July 31, at 5pm, which will be attended by the Minister of State and Regional Development, Miguel Poiares Maduro. Developed in partnership with Turismo Centro de Portugal and the Municipality of Lousã, this is an innovative project that aims, above all, to receive, welcome and direct all those who wish to visit the territory of the 27 villages. This is the Brand's only Welcome Center in the Central Portugal region, located outside the district capital cities.
Located in Lousã, the Aldeias do Xisto Welcome Center will be an exclusive space to provide all the necessary information for those who want to discover the Aldeias do Xisto and all their vast offer: history, heritage, culture, gastronomy, tradition, nature and tourism.
This new welcoming centre will always be associated with the Aldeias do Xisto brand, and it is our intention to evolve to this reception concept in all the main entrances of our territory - Serra do Açor, Vale do Zêzere and Tejo-Ocreza", says Rui Simão, executive coordinator of ADXTUR
