The 2026 edition of the Geotour Aldeias do Xisto, a standout event on the national cycling calendar, will take place from February 20 to 22, exploring the trails surrounding Fundão, the Gardunha Mountain, and the Zêzere River.

Geotour is a three-day mountain bike race, self-supported and guided by GPS, which can be done solo or in pairs. The route covers rural paths, mountain trails and secondary roads, crossing areas of high scenic and natural value in the municipalities of Fundão, Covilhã and Castelo Branco, integrating territories of the Aldeias do Xisto network.
