For Mother's Day, the Homeowner’s Association of Ferraria de S. João have prepared three very interesting programmes for mums and their little ones, in order to celebrate this very special day.
“Mães e mãos na massa”
Some traditional recipes for cornbread will be recreated and other more modern ones will be tried. You can also bring your own recipe, along with its ingredients, your knowledge to share it with everyone. It is then baked in a traditional wood oven.
Family Trail Run
A trail for the whole family to enjoy, with different distances and difficulty levels.
IV Cross-country championship
This activity consists of recreating the tradition of clearing the undergrowth in a fun, ecological and very useful event.
Meeting Point: Mountain bike centre, from 9am to 9:30am
Activities: 09am to 1pm
These activities are part of the Aldeia Viva project which aims to galvanise the village based on the promotion of rural, sporting, artistic and environmental activities, with children as the main target audience.
The aim is to take advantage of the village's resources and actively involve its inhabitants by recovering and fostering traditional culture.
