Covering one of the most beautiful stretches of the Great Zêzere Route, the 8th Zêzere River Descent is scheduled for 30 May, and promistes lots of fun and adrenaline. The canoes go into the water in Silvares, at 8am, and return to dry land in the Aldeia do Xisto of Barroca, at around 2pm. The initiative is once again organized by the Association of Canoeing Clubs of the Beira Baixa Region.
