After having hosted the European Downhill Championship last year - the most extreme style of mountain biking -Pampilhosa da Serra is now preparing to host the 2nd stage of the Portugal Cup.

The race, in which national and international cyclists participate, is scheduled for 28 and 29 March and will take place on the renowned 2090-metre track located in the town.

The presence of some of the most respected riders in the DHI sphere is expected, since it is a national C1 category race, also on the UCI calendar. In other words, riders can earn points for the "UCI ranking", which could earn them the opportunity to participate in the world cups.

In parallel, the National University Downhill Championship will also take place.  An adrenaline-filled competition with a high level of spectacle is expected, on a track that is traditionally acclaimed by both professionals and the general public.
